How to “white list” a user from within Outlook.


Most users and companies have a 3rd party that usually handles their SPAM filtering for them, but what a lot of people don’t know, is that Microsoft Outlook itself provides its own SPAM filtering. It is not a perfect solution and it cannot replace the high fucntionalities of a 3rd party program, but it can allow you “white list” a user or users that you email on a normal basis through the “Safe Senders List”.

It is a pretty simple process to do this. Below is how to do this.

Go to Actions > Junk Email > Junk Email Options > Then Navigate to the Safe Senders tab > Make sure the Automatically Add Users I Email option is checked > Then click OK

That is all it takes. This a a very fast and easy process that is going to save you headaches in the future.
